Owls
In this workshop kids will learn all about food chains and food webs. After learning about Barn Owls kids will dissect an owl pellet and find out what kinds of rodents their owl ate by using the bones and an identification guide.

Solids, Liquids and Gases
In this workshop kids will learn about the three phases of matter by mixing solids and liquids to create gas, a bouncy ball, and goop.

Worms! Worms! Worms!
In this fun workshop students will go on a scavenger hunt to learn interesting facts about worms, complete a variety of experiments to answer questions such as; Do earthworms prefer the light or dark?, and Are worms sensitive to light? This workshop wouldn’t be complete without kids making a wormery complete with earthworms to take home.

Ozobot
Workshop
Introduction to basic coding and engineering concepts
Ozobot is a tiny robot that is one of the newest and coolest tools to teach kids about basic coding. Kids will use tiny Ozobot robots and learn how they function. They will learn codes that will give the Ozobot different directions. Kids will create paths for the tiny robots to follow. Along the way, the kids can write code to tell the robots what to do. What a great way to introduce kids to technology, engineering, and coding concepts. How much fun!
Due to the limited number of robots, only 10 spaces are available for this workshop! If there is demand, we might be able to add another workshop or two. Hurry and get your child registered today!
